This is the story of John Nipper. After serving 4 years in the U.S. Navy, he found himself trying to find something that even came close to giving him a sense of meaning like the Navy had. He did a lot of different jobs, but nothing helped. He realized, at least for him, it came down to not focusing on himself and that is when that sense of meaning came back.
